How Does the Human Body Eliminate Dead Cells?

Dead cells occur both upon and within the human body. Those occuring upon the body are easily removed through friction with clothes or when the body is bathed or showered. Removal aids include loofers and scrub brushes, flannels etc. Internal dead cells are mainly removed by white blood cells that effectively "eat" the dead cells. These white blood cells are called macrophages which is a Greek word that means "big eater".
