1Prepare your materials: papers, pencils, eraser.

2Draw the flower from inside out. Start with the center, making the innermost curled petals. Add petals around it as if it is framed.

3Now, continue to add petals around it making it larger as it becomes further from the center. Make your lines clean and simple. Make the petals curl and overlap.

4Add details to your flower. Use short neat lines for veins of the petals. you don't want to put veins all over the petals, just do it randomly. Add shades underneath the petals to show how it blooms.

5Outline the leaves and the stem. Make short lines for the veins of the leaves. Add shading depending on the light.

Pick a smooth and flat surface to lay down your drawing.
Make sure that your pencils are not too sharp or too dull.
