Cooking a raw shrimp is very simple, quick and easy to do. You just need to prepare all the ingredients needed and you can do it all by yourself even if this is the first time you're going to do this. You might want to really follow the instructions below if you are a first timer since you might over-cook the shrimp. Later on you can cook it the way you want it to be. As they say, practice makes perfect!

    Prepare all the ingredient and the materials to be used.

    You will be needing a large pot, 1/2 cup of water, beer, vinegar or a soda for flavor, 1 tablespoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of seasoning preferably Old Bay.

    Choose a large pot and put a 1/2 cup of water per pound.

    Add one can of beer for flavor or vinegar. I prefer beer.

    Add 1 tablespoon salt per pound.

    Add 1 tablespoon seasoning per pound. Most people prefer Old Bay but that's your choice.

    Bring water to a gentle boil.

    Add shrimp.

    Cover and steam until tender.

    Leave it in about ten minutes until the shrimp turns pink.

    Drain of broth and serve.

  • Make sure that the shrimp is fresh.

  • Don't over-cook.
