What are LEAPs?

LEAPs, also known as Long Term Equity Anticipation Securities are essentially any stock options you may have available on a normal basis, however LEAPS tend to have a farther expiration date, typically within a three year time line. They are more common for an investor who is looking for a more predictable option within their investments.
