Bile is an important substance found in most mammals and vertebrates that plays a very important role in digestion. It is made and created from the liver which aids in digesting the lipids stored in the small intestine. It is a fluid substance in dark green to yellowish color and has a bitter taste. Although bile is made from the liver is it usually stored in the gallbladder before eating or between meals then being excreted to the duodenum in order to emulsify fats or lipids aiding to digests those to be absorbed by the body for useful purposes. This is one of the most important process of food digestions. This process may sometimes cause bad effects as well wherein to much cholesterol in the process can cause gallstones in the gall bladder which creates a painful condition that may sometimes require removal of the gal bladder.
