Why Should I Study Latin?

Latin is actually a very good subject to study. It can help you vastly in your vocabulary since many of our English words have Latin roots. Also, Latin is very useful in certain professional circles. For example, in the medical professions, a lot of words used to describe diseases and medicines have Latin roots. Likewise, in law, much of the terminology has Latin origins. Thus, Latin is a subject worth taking if you want to increase your vocabulary or plan to enter certain professions which have terminology with Latin origins.
